Wipe away the excess paint with a cloth and let them dry. The grey comes from mixing a bit of black with the white paint. Paint over the glued lettering as well. Next, paint each of the wood blocks in a different color (one black, one white and one grey). This will create a 3D effect on the spines. Start by using the hot glue gun, spell the words ‘Spells, Potions and Brews on the spines of the books (wood blocks) and let them dry.
